MP 37 As the deer pants
1 As the deer pants for the water,
so my soul longs after You.
You alone are my heart’s desire
and I long to worship You.
Chorus
You alone are my strength, my shield,
to You alone may my spirit yield,
You alone are my heart’s desire
and I long to worship You.
2 I want You more than gold or silver,
only You can satisfy.
You alone are the real joy-giver
and the apple of my eye.
Chorus
3 You’re my friend and You are my brother,
even though You are a king.
I love You more than any other,
so much more than anything.
Chorus
CH4 796 The Lord bless you and keep you
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you,
and be gracious unto you:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you
and give you peace.
Hymn: Jesus loves Ellie
Jesus, Jesus loves Ellie,
Yes he does, we know he does.
Jesus, Jesus loves Ellie,
Yes he does we know he does,
Jesus, Jesus loves Ellie
Yes he does, we know he does
and Jesus wants Ellie to love Him too.
(Sing twice)
Reading John 6 : 35 & 41 – 51

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
At this the Jews there began to grumble about him because he said, “I am the bread that came down from heaven.”
They said, “Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”
“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus answered.
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day.
It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.  No one has seen the Father except the one who is from God; only he has seen the Father. Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.

MP502 O Let the Son of God enfold you
1 O let the Son of God enfold you
with His Spirit and His love;
let Him fill your heart and satisfy your soul.
O let Him have the things that hold you,
and His Spirit, like a dove,
will descend upon your life and make you whole.
Chorus
Jesus, O Jesus,
come and fill Your Lambs;
Jesus, O Jesus,
come and fill Your Lambs;
2 O come and sing this song with gladness,
as your hearts are filled with joy;
Lift your hands in sweet surrender to His name.
O give Him all your tears and sadness,
give him all your years of pain,
and you’ll enter into life in Jesus’ name
Chorus
MP 201 Guide me O thou great Jehovah
1 Guide me, O Thou great Jehovah,
pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but Thou are mighty;
hold me with Thy powerful hand;
Bread of heaven,
feed me now and evermore
2 Open now the crystal fountain,
whence the healing stream doth flow;
let the fiery, cloudy pillar
lead me all my journey through;
strong deliverer,
be Thou my strength and shield.
3 When I tread the verge of Jordan,
bid my anxious fears subside;
death of death, and hell’s destruction,
land me safe on Canaan’s side:
songs of praises
I will ever give to Thee.
