Loving God, we come before You in this house, Your house, on this day, Your day, with these people here, Your people.
(Bless us we pray, for we need that which you alone can give.)

We come in the presence of the Comforter, Your Spirit, in the confidence of our saviour, Your Son,  who is Christ the Lord.
(Jesus, stand among us, in Thy risen power, Let this time of worship be a hallowed hour.  Holy Spirit fill us and renew us.)

Grant us healing of what is broken in us.
(That we be agents of Your healing in a broken world.)
