\nA week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,\u00a0\u2018Peace be with you!\u2019\u00a0\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>Then he said to Thomas,\u00a0\u2018Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.\u2019
\nThomas said to him, \u2018My Lord and my God!\u2019
\nThen Jesus told him,\u00a0\u2018Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u2018Yes, Lord,\u2019 he said, \u2018you know that I love you.\u2019
\nJesus said,\u00a0\u2018Feed my lambs.\u2019
\nAgain Jesus said,\u00a0\u2018Simon son of John, do you love me?\u2019
\nHe answered, \u2018Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.\u2019
\nJesus said,\u00a0\u2018Take care of my sheep.\u2019
\nThe third time he said to him,\u00a0\u2018Simon son of John, do you love me?\u2019
\nPeter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time,\u00a0\u2018Do you love me?\u2019\u00a0He said, \u2018Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.\u2019
\nJesus said, \u2018Feed my sheep.’<\/p>\n
\nHe’s in the world today;
\nI know that He is living,
\nwhatever men may say,
\nI see His hand of mercy;
\nI hear His voice of cheer;
\nand just the time I need Him,
\nHe’s always near.
