Lord\u2019s Prayer<br \/>\nJP 139: Jesus love is very wonderful<br \/>\nReading Luke 15 : 1-3,11b-32<br \/>\nCH4 404: Lord of the dance<br \/>\nPrayer<br \/>\nVideo: Everything is possible<br \/>\nReflection<br \/>\nMP 396: Just as I am<br \/>\nPrayer for others<br \/>\nMP 109: Amazing Grace<br \/>\nBenediction<\/p>\n<p><strong>Call to Worship<br \/>\n<\/strong>Create in me a pure heart, O God,<br \/>\nand renew a steadfast spirit within me.<br \/>\nDo not cast me from your presence<br \/>\nor take your Holy Spirit from me.<br \/>\nRestore to me the joy of your salvation<br \/>\nand grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MP 1072 : In Christ alone<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">1 In Christ alone my hope is found,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He is my light, my strength, my song;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">this cornerstone, this solid ground,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">firm through the fiercest drought and storm<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">what depths of peace<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">when fears are stilled,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">when strivings cease!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">My comforter, my all in all,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">here in the love of Christ I stand.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">2 In Christ alone \u2013 who took on flesh,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">fullness of God in helpless Babe!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This gift of love and righteousness,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">scorned by the ones he came to save,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">till on that cross as Jesus died,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">the wrath of God was satisfied;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">for every sin on Him was laid;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">here in the death of Christ I live.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">3 There in the ground his body lay,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">light of the world by darkness slain,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">then, bursting forth in glorious day,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">up from the grave He rose again!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">And as he stands in victory<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">sin\u2019s curse has lost its grip on me,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">for I am His and He is mine \u2013<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">brought with the precious blood of Christ.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"cxmmr5t8 oygrvhab hcukyx3x c1et5uql o9v6fnle ii04i59q\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">4 No guilt in life, no fear in death,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">this is the power of Christ in me;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">from life\u2019s first cry to final breath,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Jesus commands my destiny.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">No power of hell, no scheme of man<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">can ever pluck me from His hand;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">till He returns or calls me home,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">here in the power of Christ I\u2019ll stand!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>JP 139 : Jesus love is very wonderful<\/strong><\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Jesus\u2019 love is very wonderful,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Jesus\u2019 love is very wonderful,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Jesus\u2019 love is very wonderful,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">O wonderful love!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">So high you can\u2019t get over it,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">so low you can\u2019t get under it,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">so wide you can\u2019t get round it,<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">O wonderful love!<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>Luke 15 : 1 \u2013 3, 11b \u2013 32 NIV UK<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering round to hear Jesus.\u00a0But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, \u2018This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.\u2019<br \/>\nThen Jesus told them this parable:<br \/>\n\u2018There was a man who had two sons.\u00a0The younger one said to his father, \u201cFather, give me my share of the estate.\u201d So he divided his property between them.<br \/>\n\u2018Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living.\u00a0After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need.\u00a0So, he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs.\u00a0He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.<br \/>\n\u2018When he came to his senses, he said, \u201cHow many of my father\u2019s hired servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death!<br \/>\nI will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.\u00a0I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.\u201d<br \/>\nSo he got up and went to his father.<br \/>\n\u2018But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms round him and kissed him.<br \/>\n\u2018The son said to him, \u201cFather, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2018But the father said to his servants, \u201cQuick! Bring the best robe and put it on him. Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.\u00a0Bring the fattened calf and kill it. Let\u2019s have a feast and celebrate.\u00a0For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.\u201d So they began to celebrate.<br \/>\n\u2018Meanwhile, the elder son was in the field. When he came near the house, he heard music and dancing.\u00a0So he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on.<br \/>\n\u201cYour brother has come,\u201d he replied, \u201cand your father has killed the fattened calf because he has him back safe and sound.\u201d<br \/>\n\u2018The elder brother became angry and refused to go in.<br \/>\nSo his father went out and pleaded with him.\u00a0<strong><sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But he answered his father, \u201cLook! All these years I\u2019ve been slaving for you and never disobeyed your orders. Yet you never gave me even a young goat so I could celebrate with my friends. But when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home, you kill the fattened calf for him!\u201d<br \/>\n\u2018\u201cMy son,\u201d the father said, \u201cyou are always with me, and everything I have is yours.\u00a0<strong><sup>\u00a0<\/sup><\/strong>But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.\u201d\u2019<\/p>\n<p><strong>CH4 404 : Lord of the dance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 I danced in the morning<br \/>\nwhen the world was begun,<br \/>\nand I danced in the moon<br \/>\nand the stars and the sun,<br \/>\nand I came down from heaven<br \/>\nand I danced on the earth &#8211;<br \/>\nat Bethlehem<br \/>\nI had my birth.<br \/>\n<em>Chorus: Dance then, wherever you may be,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I am the Lord of the Dance, said he,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>and I&#8217;ll lead you all, wherever you may be,<\/em><br \/>\n<em>and I&#8217;ll lead you all in the Dance, said he.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>2 I danced for the scribes<br \/>\nand the Pharisee,<br \/>\nbut they would not dance<br \/>\nand they wouldn&#8217;t follow me.<br \/>\nI danced for the fishermen,<br \/>\nfor James and John &#8211;<br \/>\nthey came with me<br \/>\nand the Dance went on.<\/p>\n<p>3 I danced on the Sabbath<br \/>\nand I cured the lame,<br \/>\nthe holy people<br \/>\nsaid it was a shame.<br \/>\nThey whipped and they stripped<br \/>\nand they hung me on high,<br \/>\nand they left me there<br \/>\non a Cross to die,<\/p>\n<p>4 I danced on a Friday<br \/>\nwhen the sky turned black &#8211;<br \/>\nit&#8217;s hard to dance,<br \/>\nwith the devil on your back.<br \/>\nThey\u00a0buried my body<br \/>\nand they thought I&#8217;d gone &#8211;<br \/>\nbut I am the Dance<br \/>\nand I still go on.<\/p>\n<p>5 They cut me down<br \/>\nand I leapt up high &#8211;<br \/>\nI am the life<br \/>\nthat&#8217;ll never, never die.<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll live in you<br \/>\nif you&#8217;ll live in me,<br \/>\nI am the Lord<br \/>\nof the Dance, said he.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MP 396 : Just as I am<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 Just as I am, without one plea,<br \/>\nbut that Thy blood was shed for me,<br \/>\nand that Thou bidd&#8217;st me come to Thee,<br \/>\nO Lamb of God, I come!<\/p>\n<p>2 Just as I am, and waiting not,<br \/>\nto rid my soul of one dark blot,,<br \/>\nto Thee, whose blood can cleanse each spot<br \/>\nO Lamb of God, I come!<\/p>\n<p>3 Just as I am, though tossed about<br \/>\nwith many a conflict, many a doubt,<br \/>\nflighting within, and feats without,<br \/>\nO Lamb of God, I come!<\/p>\n<p>4 Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;<br \/>\nslight riches, healing of the mind,<br \/>\nyea, all I need in Thee to find,<br \/>\nO Lamb of God, I come!<\/p>\n<p>5 Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,<br \/>\nwilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;<br \/>\nbecause Thy promise I believe,<br \/>\nO Lamb of God, I come!<\/p>\n<p>6 Just as I am, Thy love unknown<br \/>\nhath broken every barrier down;<br \/>\nnow, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,<br \/>\nO Lamb of God, I come!<\/p>\n<p><strong>MP 109 : Amazing Grace<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1 Amazing grace &#8211;
