Call to Worship<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trust in the\u00a0Lord\u00a0and do good;
\ndwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
\nDelight\u00a0in the\u00a0Lord,
\nand he will give you the desires of your heart.
\nCommit your way to the\u00a0Lord;
\ntrust in him and he will do this:
\nBe still\u00a0before the\u00a0Lord
\nand wait patiently for him;<\/p>\n

\n1 Sing to God new songs of worship –
\nall His deeds are marvellous;
\nHe has brought salvation to us
\nwith His Hand and holy arm;
\nHe has shown to all the nations
\nrighteousness and saving power;
\nHe recalled His truth and mercy
\nto His people Israel.<\/em><\/p>\n

2 Sing to God new songs of worship –
\nearth has seen His victory;
\nlet the lands of earth be joyful
\npraising Him with thankfulness;
\nsound upon the harp His praises,
\nplay to Him with melody;
\nlet the trumpets sound His triumph,
\nshow your joy to God the King!<\/em><\/p>\n

3 Sing to God new songs of worship –
\nlet the sea now make a noise;
\nall on earth and in the waters
\nsound your praises to the Lord;
\nlet the hills be joyful together,
\nlet the rivers clap their hands,
\nfor the righteousness and justice
\nHe will come to judge the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n

Luke 6 : 27 \u2013 38 NIV\u00a0 Love for Enemies<\/strong>\u00a0<\/sup><\/p>\n

\u201cBut to you who are listening I say:
\nLove your enemies, do good to those who hate you,\u00a0bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
\nIf someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them.\u00a0Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.
\nDo to others as you would have them do to you.
\n\u201cIf you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?
\nEven sinners love those who love them.
\nAnd if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that.
\nAnd if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you?
\nEven sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full.
\nBut love your enemies, do good to them,\u00a0and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children\u00a0of the Most High,\u00a0because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
\nBe merciful, just as your Father\u00a0is merciful.
\n\u201cDo not judge, and you will not be judged.
\nDo not condemn, and you will not be condemned.
\nForgive, and you will be forgiven.
\nGive, and it will be given to you.
\nA good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.\u00a0For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.\u201d<\/p>\n

CH4 710: I have a dream
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 ‘I have a dream’, a man once said,
\n‘where all is perfect peace;
\nwhere men and women, black and white,
\nstand hand in hand, and all unite
\nin freedom and in love.’<\/p>\n

2 But in this world of bitter strife
\nthe dream can often fade;
\nreality seems dark as night,
\nwe catch but glimpses of the light
\nChrist sheds on humankind.<\/p>\n

3 Fierce persecution, war and hate
\nare raging everywhere;
\nGod calls us now to pay the price
\nthrough struggles and through sacrifice
\nof standing for the right.<\/p>\n

4 So dream the dreams and sing the songs,
\nbut never be content:
\nfor thoughts and words don’t ease the pain;
\nunless there’s action, all is vain;
\nfaith proves itself in deeds.<\/p>\n

5 Lord give us vision, make us strong,
\nhelps s to do your will;
\ndon’t let us rest until we see
\nyour love throughout humanity
\nuniting us in peace.<\/p>\n

CH4 625\/MP525 O thou who camest
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 O thou who camest from above<\/div>\n
the pure celestial fire to impart,<\/div>\n
kindle a flame of sacred love<\/div>\n
on the mean altar of my heart.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
2 There let it for thy glory burn<\/div>\n
with inextinguishable blaze,<\/div>\n
and trembling to its source return,<\/div>\n
in humble prayer and fervent praise.<\/div>\n

3 Jesus, confirm my heart\u2019s desire<\/div>\n
to work, and speak, and think for thee;<\/div>\n

1 How deep the Father\u2019s love for us,<\/div>\n
how vast beyond all measure,<\/div>\n
that He should give His only Son<\/div>\n
to make a wretch His treasure,<\/div>\n
How great the pain of searing loss \u2013<\/div>\n
the Father turns His face away,<\/div>\n
as wounds which mar the chosen one<\/div>\n
bring many sons to glory.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

2 Behold the man upon a cross,<\/div>\n
my sin upon His shoulders;<\/div>\n
ashamed, I hear my mocking voice<\/div>\n
call out among the scoffers.<\/div>\n
It was my sin that held Him there<\/div>\n
until it was accomplished;<\/div>\n
His dying breath has brought my life \u2013<\/div>\n
I know that it is finished.<\/div>\n
