\nLet it be that our wisdom, our nature, our words and actions
\nreflect such a Heavenly Spirit.
\nLet this praise and time of worship
\nbe received as heaven-sent:
\nGod\u2019s gift to us of time, space, and opportunity.
\nLet us come before God

\n<\/strong>1<\/sup>Who is wise and understanding among you?
\nLet them show it\u00a0by their good life, by deeds\u00a0done in the humility that comes from wisdom.
\nBut if you harbour bitter envy and selfish ambition\u00a0in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.
\nSuch \u201cwisdom\u201d does not come down from heaven\u00a0but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.
\nFor where you have envy and selfish ambition,\u00a0there you find disorder and every evil practice.
\nBut the wisdom that comes from heaven\u00a0is first of all pure; then peace-loving,\u00a0considerate, submissive, full of mercy\u00a0and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
\nPeacemakers\u00a0who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.<\/p>\n

\nhow vast beyond all measure,
\nthat He should give His only Son
\nto make a wretch His treasure,
\nHow great the pain of searing loss –
\nthe Father turns His face away,
\nas wounds which mar the chosen one
\nbring many sons to glory.<\/p>\n

2 Behold the man upon a cross,
\nmy sin upon His shoulders;
\nashamed, I hear my mocking voice
\ncall out among\u00a0 the scoffers.
\nIt was my sin that held Him there
\nuntil it was accomplished;
\nHis dying breath has brought my life –
\nI know that it is finished.<\/p>\n

3 I will not boast in anything,
\nno gifts, no power, no wisdom;
\nbut I will boast in Jesus Christ,
\nHis death and resurrection.
\nWhy should I gain from His reward?
\nI cannot give an answer,
\nbut this I know with all my heart,
