Call to Worship
\n<\/strong>Come out from the shadows
\nand into the light of morning.
\nCome, empty and depleted,
\nto be filled with God\u2019s Spirit.<\/p>\n

Come, sober in sorrow,
\nand leave drunk with joy.
\nCome, expecting nothing,
\nbut ready to be surprised.<\/p>\n

Above all, come, and know
\nthat you are welcome here.<\/p>\n

MP 18 : All over the world<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 All over the world the Spirit is moving,
\nall over the world as the prophet said it would be;
\nall over the world there’s a mighty revelation
\nof the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.<\/p>\n

2 All over His Church God’s Spirit is moving,
\nall over His Church as the prophet said it would be;
\nall over His Church there’s a mighty revelation
\nof the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.<\/p>\n

3 Right here in this place the Spirit is moving,
\nright here in this place as the prophet said it would be;
\nright here in the place there’s a mighty revelation
\nof the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.<\/p>\n

Acts 2:1-13<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.
\nSuddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
\nThey saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
\nAll of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
\nNow there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven.\u00a0When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken.
\nUtterly amazed, they asked: \u2018Aren\u2019t all these who are speaking Galileans?
\nThen how is it that each of us hears them in our native language?
\nParthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia,
\nPontus and Asia, Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene;
\nvisitors from Rome\u00a0(both Jews and converts to Judaism);
\nCretans and Arabs\u00a0\u2013 we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!\u2019
\nAmazed and perplexed, they asked one another,
\n\u2018What does this mean?\u2019
\nSome, however, made fun of them and said, \u2018They have had too much wine.\u2019<\/p>\n

MP 144 : Fear not rejoice and be glad<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nFear not, rejoice and be glad,
\nthe Lord hath done a great thing;
\nhath poured out His Spirit on all mankind,
\non those who confess His name.<\/em><\/p>\n

1 The fig tree is budding, the vine beareth fruit,
\nthe wheat fields are golden with grain.
\nThrust in the sickle, the harvest is ripe,
\nthe Lord has given us rain.

2 Ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
