1 The Lord’s my shepherd, I’ll not want.
\nHe makes me lie in pastures green,
\nHe leads me by the still, still waters,
\nHis goodness restores my soul.<\/p>\n

John 10 : 11-18
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2018I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
\nThe hired hand is not the shepherd and does not own the sheep. So, when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away.
\nThen the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it.
\nThe man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
\n\u2018I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me\u00a0\u2013\u00a0just as the Father knows me and I know the Father\u00a0\u2013 and I lay down my life for the sheep.
\nI have other sheep that are not of this sheepfold. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.
\nThe reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life\u00a0\u2013 only to take it up again.\u00a0No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.\u2019<\/p>\n

\nwhose goodness faileth never;
\nI nothing lack if I am His
\nand He is mine forever.<\/p>\n
