With the dawning of hope in Jerusalem
\nFolded the grave clothes, tomb filled with light
\nAs the angels announce Christ is risen
\nSee God\u2019s salvation plan
\nWrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice
\nFulfilled in Christ the man
\nFor he lives, Christ is risen from the dead<\/p>\n

See Mary weeping, where is he laid?
\nAs in sorrow she turns form the empty tomb
\nHears a voice speaking, calling her name
\nIt\u2019s the master, the Lord raised to life again.
\nThe voice that spans the years
\nSpeaking life, stirring hope, bringing peace to us
\nWill sound when he appears
\nFor he lives, Christ is risen from the dead<\/p>\n

One with the Father, ancient of days
\nThrough the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty
\nHonour and blessing, glory and praise
\nTo the King crowned with power and authority
\nAnd we are raised with Him
\nDeath is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered
\nAnd we shall reign with him

Luke 24 : 1 – 12 <\/strong><\/div>\n

On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, \u2018<\/div>\n
\n

Why do you look for the living among the dead?\u00a0He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:\u00a0\u201cThe Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.\u201d\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n

Then they remembered his words.<\/p>\n

When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.<\/p>\n

It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the others with them who told this to the apostles.<\/p>\n

But they did not believe the women, because their words seemed to them like nonsense.<\/p>\n

Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by themselves, and he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

MP755 : When I survey<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 When I survey the wondrous cross
\non which the Prince of glory died,
\nmy richest gain I count but loss,
\nand pour contempt on all my pride.<\/p>\n

2 Forbid it, Lord, that I should boast,
\nsave in the death of Christ my God:
\nall the vain things that charm me most,
\nI sacrifice them to His blood.<\/p>\n

3 See from His head, His hands, His feet,
\nsorrow and love flow mingled down:
\ndid e’er such love and sorrow meet,
\nor thorms compose so rich a crown?<\/p>\n

4 Were the whole realm of nature mine,
\nthat were an offering far too small,
\nlove so amazing, so divine,
\ndemands my soul, my life, my all.<\/p>\n

1 Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son,
\nendless is the victory Thou o’er death hast won;
\nangels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
\nkept the folded grave-clothes where Thy body lay.<\/p>\n
