Hymn CH4 35: O send thy light forth

1 O send thy light forth and thy truth;
\nlet them be guides to me,
\nand bring me to thine holy hill,
\neven where thy dwellings be.
\nThen will I to God’s altar go,
\nto God my chiefest joy:
\nyea, God, my God, thy name to praise
\nmy harp I will employ,

The widow\u2019s offering<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.
\nHe also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins.
\n\u201cTruly I tell you,\u201d\u00a0he said,
\n\u201cthis poor widow has put in more than all the others.
\nAll these people gave their gifts out of their wealth;
\nbut she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hymn MP 31: Amazing Grace<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 Amazing grace – how sweet the sound –
\nthat saved a wretch like me!
\nI once was lost, but now am found,
\nwas blind, but now I see.<\/p>\n

2 ‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
\nand grace my fears relieved;
\nHow precious did that grace appear
