1 O Lord, our Lord, throughout the earth
\nhow glorious is your name,
\nand glorious too where unseen heavens
\nyour majesty proclaim
\nOn infant lips, in children’s song
\na strong defense you raise
\nto counter enemy and threat,
\nand foil the rebel’s ways<\/p>\n

2 When I look up and see the stars,
\nwhich your own fingers made,
\nand wonder at the moon and stars,
\neach perfectly displayed;
\nthen I must ask, ‘Why do you care?
\nWhy love humanity?
\nAnd why keep every mortal name
\nfixed in your memory?’<\/p>\n

3 Yet such as us you made and menat
\njust less than gods to be;
\nwith honour and with glory, Lord,
\nyou crowned humanity.
\nAnd then dominion you bestowed

\n<\/strong>The greatest commandment<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together.
\nOne of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:\u00a0
\n<\/sup><\/strong>\u2018Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?\u2019
\n<\/sup><\/strong>Jesus replied:
\n\u201cLove the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.\u201d
\n<\/sup>This is the first and greatest commandment.\u00a0
\n<\/sup><\/strong>And the second is like it:
\n\u201cLove your neighbour as yourself.\u201d
\n<\/sup>All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.\u2019<\/p>\n
